The Olympus Stylus 7030 Digital Camera offers high-quality 14 megapixel imaging in a convenient, compact camera. This allows you to make poster size prints with great detail. Composing photos is easy on the camera's bright 2.7" LCD screen. Intelligent Auto (iAuto) Mode analyzes your composition and automatically adjusts critical exposure settings for brilliant, hassle-free shooting. Other features including Shadow Adjustment Technology, AF Tracking, and Dual Image Stabilization, make it easy to take great photos. Take beautiful portraits, by softening shadows and smoothing wrinkles and blemishes on your subject's face with the Beauty Mode feature. Edits can also be made inside the camera after taking the picture.
The wide-angle 28mm 7X optical zoom lens allows you to capture your subjects whether they are close by or in the distance. The camera allows you to create a stylized look for your photos with Magic Filters, or use the Panorama mode to create one large image. If you need to capture a moving subject, the camera shoots VGA quality movies. You can store all of your images on the internal 1GB memory, or use SD/ SDHC media cards to better interface with computers, digital picture frames, and HDTVs.

Camera has good internal memory, and it is easy to use on most settings. Lots of features. I have had it two weeks and have taken panorama shots, indoor and outside shots and it has worked like a champ. I like the fish-eye feature. Takes a bit long between shots, but that might be adjustable too.

I'm a proud mom, so I'm always taking pix of my kids, their friends, their sports, lots of family, our pets, etc. For the money, this is a great camera for all the options you have on it, or if you just want to point & shoot. The zoom is great and any better zoom would cost much more. The worst thing about it is the info. button or wheel controller. It's plastic (kind of cheesy). Other Olympus cameras have a metal one that just seems easier to use. I still chose this camera over another camera with very similar features but clearly didn't take as good of pictures.

We bought the previous revision of this camera for our oldest daughter 3 years ago and she loves it, so this was our default choice when we started looking for a camera for our youngest daughter this month. We went ahead and compared all the other brands, like Nikon, Canon, etc. but just couldn't find a better camera for the money. We gave it to our daughter a week early, just before we left for a trip to Maui for Thanksgiving week. She took hundreds of photos with it on the vacation and is still raving about what a great camera it is. Easy to use and takes fantastic photos in all sorts of lighting conditions. For the money, you cannot beat this camera.

I like the size of the camera and the great zoom, it could be a little thinner but I guess the extra zoom on the lense is the trade off. I really like the change from XD to SD on the memory card making it easier to get a larger and faster card.

Camera is small, light, has a pretty good zoom, and very fine pictures. It also does great in low light, and has lots of usable settings. A great alternative to a bulky, expensive camera. I only wish it had a wider zoom than it does.

I like this camera's photo setting options but the auto is really good and takes great shots. Easy buttons, you can delete more than one photo at a time which is a nice feature. What I don't like is that you can't delete the photo you just took even if it's still on the screen - you have to go into review mode and delete from there. Not a big deal but I liked that in my other camera that if I didn't like that last shot I can just instantly delete it and take another but here bad photos collect in memory so I have to go in sometimes and look for them to delete. Also, you have to hook up the whole camera to the charger to charge the battery. My other camera I could put the battery in the charger and stick that into the outlet but here the whole camera is attached through the cord and again, not a big deal but different and takes up more space when charging. I like the 7 zoom which is really rare for a small camera. I even used it on Fourth of July and the fireworks photos came out decent.
