- Premium Auto
- Premium Auto enables the camera to automatically analyze the scene being photographed - including distinguishing night scenes, back lighting, a blue sky, green trees or a sunset - as well as sensing whether there is a face in the frame, the movement and position of the subject, and whether a tripod is being used. It simultaneously optimizes settings for exposure, ISO, sensitivity, focus location, photo blur correction, tonal range and color balance, and level of noise reduction.

I use this camera every day. I am a helicopter pilot and needed something small and durable, yet a camera that could take amazing pictures and not cost an arm and a leg. I love the size and the auto feature. I especially love the Best Shot feature button on top. With one click, I can hit that button and the auto feature quickly uses the best mode to take the shot. When I say quick, I mean quick with the new Casio engine. The night shots are incredible by the way, and the battery life is amazing. The camera does not have some of the needless features such as touch screen or having the picture on the screen turn as you turn the camera. The only down-side to the camera is the fact of the size, it being so small. When taking pictures, you need to be aware of where your left fingers are when holding the camera with your left hand, as you could possibly cover the AF on top, or the microphone on bottom.

I have enjoyed this new camera. I really like all of the "smart Photo" settings. I was able to capture some very rich sunset photos as well as some nice portraits. The battery has seemed to serve well so far.
It was totally compatible with my MAC. I have known other people to have problems downloading video onto a MAC but this camera was totally compatible with OS X Version 10.5
I look forward to using the Manual Focus Feature with some Nature Photography.
I bought this camera unseen based on other reviews and features. No regrets!!

My husband was skeptical about buying a camera we had not had the chance to try yet, but we have been very pleased with this camera. It is easy to use, offers tons of cool features and takes great pictures. I especially like the oil painting and crayon settings. Makes for fun photos. This camera has good shutter speed and quick time between shots, which was important to us. The recovery time does depend in the setting, so for those with longer exposure, the time between shots doe lag, but understandably. Overall we have really been impressed with the camera, it is user friendly and lives up to the ranking in consumer reports. Glad we bought it!

THIS IS MY EVERY DAY , I CARRY IT EVERYWHERE CAMERA.
I LIKE THE 14MP, LARGE 3" LCD SCREEN, AND EASY TO NAVIGATE AND CHANGE SETTINGS. OH, YES, LONG BATTERY LIFE.
I WISH IT HAD AN OPTICAL VIEW FINDER, BUT ALAS EVEN CANON QUIT PUTTING ONE ON ALL NEW POINT AND SHOOTS.

I bought this product as an upgrade for a previous Casio Camera I own. In fact, this is my fourth Casio Camera in the Exlim series, dating back several years to the original Casio Exlim. The new camera, the EX-Z2000 is everything I have come to expect from this fine line of cameras. The picture quality is superb, and as an added bonus the HD Video quality is almost as good as a full fledged Camcorder which I own.
