- The Casio EXILIM EX-Z2000 records amazing 720p High Definition video. With a fast capture rate of 30 frames per second, all subjects are recorded in smooth, seamless motion at the highest quality possible.
- Premium Auto
- Premium Auto enables the camera to automatically analyze the scene being photographed - including distinguishing night scenes, back lighting, a blue sky, green trees or a sunset - as well as sensing whether there is a face in the frame, the movement and position of the subject, and whether a tripod is being used. It simultaneously optimizes settings for exposure, ISO, sensitivity, focus location, photo blur correction, tonal range and color balance, and level of noise reduction.

I was a serious photo hobbyist for many years, but ultimately drifted away from the hobby. Of course like everyone else, i purchased a digital camera when they first came out, and I thought they were amazing. I have not purchased a new one in years. I spent hours reading reviews and doing research on the web, and ultimately decided on the EX-Z2000. To me, the camera is like magic. It is endlessly powerful. Although use is totally intuitive, there is a 195 page user manual that gets into endless finer points of use.I have been using it for afocal astro photography and I have gotten some amazing shots of the moon and Jupiter and its moons in the first couple of days of use. It is difficult to believe that one can own a 14 megapixel camera for around [$]! I have also used the video mode, which I think works as well as my expensive Sony video camera. I highly recommend this camera! I also love the very large, bright LCD screen.

I went on a trip to New jersey to a boat harbor took pictures and videos during the night and the day.
The picture and movie quality is amazing. The layout of the camera is simple and the screen is bright and large. I have no complaint about the phone.
