The TK-2300 from Kenwood is a compact and portable 16-channel communication radio. It operates in a VHF radio band and has a strong 2W of output power. The radio features single priority and normal scan modes, as well as an indicator LED that provides function information. The radio has 2 programmable function keys and a super lock (manager key lock) function.
The radio is designed for terrific audio performance, featuring enhanced companded audio. The radio is VOX ready and has a voice inversion scrambler built in. It also has wireless cloning and QT/DQT. The radio meets MIL-STD 810 C/D/E/F environmental test specifications, which are used by the US Department of Defense. The radio also meets IP-54/55 standards for water and dust intrusion. FleetSync features include PTT ID digital ANI and selective call functions.
