We're using this product for quick presentations at work and with clients. So far we've been very pleased with the quality. It's not as good as an overhead digital projector, for sure, but you can wow everyone by whipping it out in the middle of a meeting.
One thing to note: you do kind of need to use it in a dark room or else the projection won't show very well.
So far it's been really easy to use, and no complaints on battery life or anything.
It also comes with a nifty little tripod and a few other perks that aren't advertised.

I tried to use this as a replacement for my TV, so I was expecting too much. Even in my dark living room at night the image was too dim. It was fine for watching the news or weather -- bright images with little motion. But not good for movies or sports.
Otherwise, it is compact and convenient for those looking to use it for PowerPoint talks (as it was originally intended). Being able to project slides without a laptop is a big plus for those needing to travel light.
LEDs are a big improvement over the older bulb projectors, but the technology isn't here just yet. Wait for the next generation or two.

Comments about 3M MPro150 Pocket Projector:
Overall, I would say this is a must have for people on the go and need something compact and don't always need a laptop handy. I use it to teach classes and it works well for my needs and it is compact. I load my presentations onto the projector for one class then I connect my laptop up to the projector for the next class. I screw it onto a standard camera tripod and it works well during my classes. The brightness is low, and you need a very dark room to have the picture quality look decent for everyone to see and that is why 4 star. Other than that it is the perfect solution for me and I am glad I have it. My friends and now my work are looking at buying this because of the flexibility this product brings to the table.

Comments about 3M MPro150 Pocket Projector:
The projector meets and exceeded my expectations. My intent was to use it for simple business and educational presentations for small groups. In a darkened room, the picture quality is pretty good even when projected 5 - 6 feet wide. The battery pack and ample storage allow me to store files for quick display anytime, almost anywhere with no laptop or other devices required. Great bang for your buck, as long as you are not looking for a replacement for your home television projector.

I use this product for work. Good for presentations and video in a dark room. Quality of the product is good and the connection cables for ipad as part of the package made it a good value. I would recommend it after using the product for a few weeks.

Great for a small group instead of huddling around the laptop. Not very bright but again, not bad for the price.

I use this product for small group presentations. It works very well for its size, but you really need a white screen and a relatively dark room. The onboard applications are pretty good, but I use it primarily with my laptop.

I use this product to blow up my drawings to transfer to canvas so i can paint them. This unit works perfectly for my needs, and i would assume it could be a great piece of equipment for a variety of other needs. Seems to be very well made and is extremely easy to use even for those who are not very tech savvy like myself.

Comments about 3M MPro150 Pocket Projector:
The purchase experience with B&H was first class, no problem there. However, the product is a different story.
I purchased the MPro 150 to take with me on an overseas trip. I had hoped to use the unit to support presentations and training activities I was conducting.
I received the product and have spent two days attempting to get the projector ready. I could not be more disappointed. The MPro 150 is advertised as capable of reading PDFs; if it does, two days later mine still won't. I have tried every way Adobe Creative Suite CS5 is capable of authoring and publishing a PDF and none of them are supported by the projector. All I get is an error telling me the PDF file is an unsupported format. Same thing with PowerPoint (Office 2003 & 2007). Constantly get "Out of Memory" messages.
I have downloaded and installed the available update. Didn't help. I have run the Check Disk through Windows as recommended. Didn't help.
The performance of this product is so disappointing, I'm leaving it at the office; not worth throwing in the briefcase. As I said before, I could not be more disappointed.

After lugging around a standard power point projector for several years to presentations this mini projector is a breath of freash air. I give off site presentations which means I have to load up the car then unload the car set up the equipment give the presentation pack up the equipment load up the car then unload the car when I get back to the office. As at many sites we are on a dead line to exit the room for the next group waiting to use the space. The MPro 150 has made my job easier and my arms less tired.

Comments about 3M MPro150 Pocket Projector:
I will be using this projector in a trade show booth connected to a MacBook Pro for presentations. It comes with assorted patch cords, NONE of which fit a MBP mini-display port. The instructions are far too vague regarding what is required for connection. Several phone calls to a supplier of adapters /patch cords, two courier deliveries (and concurrent costs)later I finally got it hooked up and working.
I'm not sure how good it will be in a bright environment, but will try to compensate as well as possible. Once connected, it works very well paired with a 25" folding screen.

I use this to practice my presentations in the hotel and at home. My regular projector went out in the middle of a presentation. The MP150 plugged right in and the presentation continued. Not as bright or as large as a full sized projector, it worked and saved the day! I highly recommend the MP150.

Comments about 3M MPro150 Pocket Projector:
Very impressed with this little projector so far. I've done a demo of it's capabilities for several people and everyone is very impressed with it. Most are surprised by how affordable it is too. I'm going to be a couple more probably to send to missionary friends of mine. What a great tool for witnessing on the spot! (Hint: Before loading a Powerpoint presentation save the file first as .jpg images instead of the usual .ppt extension. Will GREATLY reduce the file size and since images of your slides are all you're really showing anyway, why take up the extra space. I've put a 16GB card in mine so I"m not that worried but the projector seems to have a 10MB internal memory limitation when loading files so it's a good idea to keep the file sizes below 10MB or you'll get an OUT OF MEMORY error.

I've written a complete review on [...] but I'll go over the highlights here: Pros - very affordable. Looks great, especially under low light conditions. Stores files on the unit itself! Can play PDF, Excel, Word, Powerpoint files. Can display videos (.mp4) and .jpg images. Has a slideshow feature that can play background music. Very compact. 1hr plus battery. Cons - Could be a little brighter but not bad at all in low light! Wish it would play .m4v movies as well as .mp4. Seems to have a 10MB limit on memory (found out trying to load a 17MB Powerpoint) but the solution there is to convert your Powerpoint to images (Save as..select images). Overall would recommend to a friend!!

My neice just had a son and we live 5 hours away. The MPro has made it easy for us to share photos daily. Very easy to use. Photos are of professional quality. I am planning on giving 5 of these for holiday gifts so we can stay in contact with photos. I also use my MPro for my job as a Golf Course Consultant. I can present the board of directors with a full color presentation of the course and its problems without having to lug around a trunk load of equipment. The price at B&H is the best price I have found.

This is a little wonder. It's small enough for a pocket so you can make a presentation anywhere. It has it's own, limited, internal memory and has a slot for a micro SD card. No computer necessary.
It's not meant for large room presentations, but fora classroom or conference room it's perfect.
It won't match the resolution of a full scale projector, but the advantage of being able to present anywhere without lugging a whole presentation setup with you outweigh that limitation.
