Comments about Redrock Micro microSupport Baseplate (15mm Low Riser):
Well constructed; EXACTLY what I wanted for my HVX200 and AF100. A little expensive for the budget conscience, but you get what you pay for. Only con is that I expected it to take up less rail real estate, but I'll gladly live with that for the security of a tough mount that isn't likely to fail.

Comments about Redrock Micro microSupport Baseplate (15mm Low Riser):
This is a great product for the money. Sure you can spend more to get basically the same thing from other company's but why. This works just the same and weighs less than many of it competitors.

Comments about Redrock Micro microSupport Baseplate (15mm Low Riser):
Excellent product by RedRock Micro, i think they are one of the best companies in terms of price/quality out there, one of the best choices for people who don't want or can't pay Zacuto or Arri prices but also need high quality equipment.
This baseplate fits on standard 15mm rods and the built quality is excellent, very sturdy and heavy duty. It allows the camera to be adjusted horizontally on the plate from side to side. You can also adjust the camera's position from front to back by sliding the long quick release plate to the position that fits your needs. The quick release system works perfectly and is very smooth.
The bottom of the unit features one 1/4-20 threaded hole and two 3/8-16 to connect to a tripod. It also comes with all the bolts that appear in the picture (two 1/4-20 screws and two 3/8-16 screws). The spare ones that you won't use can be stored in two threaded holes on the side of the plate.
The large size of the baseplate gives your camera/rig a great base to build from with awesome built quality, an overall well designed system for a price that can't be beaten in my opinion.
