The Camera Armor for Nikon D3 (Black) is a rugged custom fit skin made to protect a Nikon D3 digital SLR camera. All controls and access points are still accessible. The skin includes: Body Armor that is made of elastomeric silicone that fits like a glove over the camera body; Lens Armor that is a rugged, protective ring that protects the delicate camera lens from impact; Lens Cap Lanyard that is a leash that keeps the lens cap close at hand and a LCD Shield that is made of sturdy polycarbonate that protects the rear LCD screen from smudges, scratches and abrasion.

The skin works well, have a bit of trouble with apperature wheel on the front of the grip as the rubber seems to get in the way... lots of good things about it including the security of the body against dings which will cost a lot later on...

The Camera Armor is easy to install and fits nicely while at the same time giving you access to all the cameras controls.
They also include a snap on clear plastic cover for the rear LCD displays to provide additional protection from damage.
The negative the use of a tripod extender (supplied) on the bottom.

Fits the camera (D3) very well. Helps prevent dings and scratches, plus I find it makes it easier to keep a grip on what is a heavy camera. I find that it appears that they cheapened the display overlay it appears smaller than the one that is shown in their instructions. That being said so far it has not fallen off. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase.
