Comments about Roland RH-5 Around-Ear Stereo Headphones:
I recently bought these to replace some Sony's I had for years. I didn't want to spend too much but still wanted some decent headphones. I mainly use these to listen to my ipod and to plug into a small practice amp. The sound quality is decent but gets distorted if you try to push the volume well before the max. I don't use them like this but I wanted to see their potential. They are very light weight and comfortable, you can hardly tell that you have them on. Over all they are about what I expected for the price however I prefer the sonys that they replaced which were in the same price range.

Comments about Roland RH-5 Around-Ear Stereo Headphones:
Have had this headphone for a couple of weeks now. The sound is much better than another brand headphone I have. Considering the price, I think it is a good buy. One minor point is I need to take it off after a few hours of listening.

Comments about Roland RH-5 Around-Ear Stereo Headphones:
The Roland RH-5 headphones are inexpensive quality headphones that are great sounding, closed, over the ear, lite weight and comfortable. The price is low enough that several won't brake your bank account. The cord is a heavy duty cord that should take quite a bit of stress. They work nicely as phones for recording sessions with multiple muscians.

Comments about Roland RH-5 Around-Ear Stereo Headphones:
I was looking for a reasonably priced headphone set to use with my Roland D-50 synth and Boss BR-600 digital recorder. The Roland RH-5 at less than forty dollars seemed like a logical choice based on past experience with other gear from this manufacturer. Actually though, I made the decision to purchase the RH-5 headphones because of the wide frequency response specification (10-22,000 Hz) for this model. Other brand headphones in this price range offer a much more narrow range (usually 18-20,000 Hz) so the Roland RH-5 is definitely a little better suited than some for use with electronic instruments and when monitoring live recordings. It turns out they are equally great for just listening to music on an MP3 player as well. These headphones are very comfortable to wear and provide excellent sound quality for the money. The gold plated stereo mini plug and 1/4 inch phone plug adaptor is a nice convenience feature too.
