The Samsung CL80 Digital Camera combines advanced imaging technologies to provide DSLR quality photos and video in a compact, easy to use package. Built on a high-resolution 14 megapixel image sensor, the camera renders all of your subjects with life-like color and fine detail. The high powered 7x optical zoom lens provides a true 31mm wide angle of view. The 3.7" Touchscreen display not only helps you compose your photos, it also allows you to organize and view your images with the Smart Album feature.
The Smart Auto 2.0 feature makes the camera easy to use, but the camera also has advanced manual shutter speed and aperture controls. This, combined with Samsung dual Image Stabilization technology, enables the camera to produce quality images. 1280x720p at 30fps HD video produces brilliant flicker-free motion video of family memories and other events, and you can email them or upload your images with the Wi-Fi feature without using a computer.

- 3.7" AMOLED Touchscreen LCD
- Your viewing experience just got a lot more interactive with the CL80's 3.7" wide touchscreen display. The CL80 uses Samsung's Haptic sensor technology which provides vibrating and audio feedback with every control.
- 7x Optical Zoom Lens
- The 7x optical zoom lens has a 31-217mm (35mm film Equivalent) range. This allows you to take photos of large subjects in a tight spot, or get up close and personal even if your subject is in the distance.
- Smart Auto 2.0
- Take professional-looking photos with the Smart Auto feature. Smart Auto analyzes key elements of your composition such as color, brightness, motion and subject, then automatically adjusts to take the perfect shot. Smart Auto has 16 different preset modes for a variety of photo op settings. These modes can be bypassed for manual control.
- Dual Image Stabilization
- The Advanced Dual Image Stabilization (IS) feature allows you to capture crystal-clear, blur-free shots without using a flash or tripod. The CL80's Advanced Dual IS combines both Optical and Digital Image Stabilization to produce sharp images without the noise commonly found in other cameras. The optical IS compensates for hand trembling by shifting the lens in the opposite direction. When using optical IS isn't quite enough, the digital IS automatically takes over to ensure blur-free images.
- Instant Wi-Fi Uploads
- Email your photos directly from your camera, or upload your pictures and videos to the web without using your computer. The CL80 makes it possible, and as simple as you can imagine thanks to its Wi-Fi capability. Now when you see the perfect pair of shoes for your friend's wedding, you can upload it to Facebook, Flickr, Photobox or Picasa in an instant. Or when your cat does that hilarious backflip again, you can share it with ease on YouTube. The CL80 connects you and your network to every moment worth sharing.

- Record movies in the palm of your hand. The CL80 is like having a compact HD video camera that also takes professional-grade photos. You can record HD video in 1280x720p resolution at 30fps. The H.264 format also allows you to record twice as much as an MP4 and four times more than an MJPEG - and the file format delivers a much higher video and sound quality.
- Smart Album
- The Smart Album feature lets you quickly scroll through your entire image library and organize images a multitude of ways, including; favorite, face, color, or content.

I just received this camera last week. I haven't really used it too much but I've been playing around with all the features, there are tons of them. The owner's manual is a little overwhelming but I'm mainly going to use the auto feature until I can get more experienced. I LOVE the touchscreen, so easy to use. Very excited to use the wifi feature too. The price is $100 less than the stores.

Excellent camera!! I've been search and searching for a camera that I could e-mail or upload photos directly through my facebook, and I am so glad I found this one!! The picture quality is really good, especially in low lighting - it took great pictures in the gym which most cameras won't take a picture one. Also, I've takin quit a lot of video, and pictures and have had plenty of battery. Who needs a Nikon or Canon when you have a Samsung! P.S. Also, there is hardly any lag time bwt shots, so I haven't missed a smile yet. :)[...]

Easy to use, great photos, very ergonomic design. You need to focus before taking the picture for best results (depress button part way first). Accurate colors, although some additional sharpening of photos is sometimes beneficial. 16 Gb card holds plenty of photos and movies. Overall, better touchscreen and photo quality than my Nikon.

I bought this about a month ago for my wife. To date I have zero complaints. The pictures are crystal clear and better then any point and shoot I have owned to date.
The menus are intuitive and easy to navigate. Start-up time is acceptable. Shutter speed and auto-focus are great, so far I haven't missed a shot. I haven't tested the camera in low light.
The size is a little large compared to other point and shoots, however given the results thus far it is a fantastic trade-off.
