The microLensGear Kit enables an exact fit between your 35mm SLR lens and Redrock Micro's microFollowFocus system, which allows more precise and fluid focus adjustments when using still lenses to shoot video. The three different-sized gears wrap around lenses with circumferences of 180mm - 220mm (Size A), 211mm - 250mm (Size B), and 241mm - 280mm (Size C). Without damaging your lens, the gear is pulled tight using one of the included fastening screws.

Comments about Redrock Micro microLensGear Kit (Black):
These are very robust lens gears. They are quite big so I can't leave them on my lenses permanently, but luckily they are easy to take on and off. Compared to many other lens gears these are rather wide, which I like, because it makes them easier to align with the follow focus unit.

Comments about Redrock Micro microLensGear Kit (Black):
This product was purchased, used once, and returned. Redrock has produced many great things such as the redrock adapter line, but their microgears are awful. You are paying [$] for three rings of cheap plastic, and a lame little screw. The joint-point on the ring sticks out to high and you end up either hitting the lens, or bumping into the follow-focus ring. I would strongly advise serious shooters and AC's to avoid this product at all costs.
