The Revelation from MXL is a professional-quality tube microphone designed to deliver a warm and intimate tone, ideal for a variety of applications, including vocals, acoustic guitar, piano, and more. The mic has a dual gold-sputtered 6-micron diaphragm and a hand-selected EF86 pentode tube to deliver the rich sound you'd expect from a tube mic.
The included remote power supply offers a variable knob for polar pattern selection, including omni, cardioid, and figure-8, as well as positions in between. The mic's custom body helps to minimize resonance for a clean signal. The mic has internal Mogami wiring, and also includes Mogami XLR cables for connection to your other studio equipment.
