Comments about Sunpak Pro 523PX2 Carbon Fiber Tripod:
As one who has come to the world of photography late in life, I looked for resilient equipment that I could tote on my own, that I could change out quickly and that wasn't too heavy. As a real estate photographer, much of my work is done outside in extremes of hot/cold. This tripod is light enough for me to sling over my shoulder and carry when I'm not using it, but strong enough for my camera/lenses/pan-heads/flash. A BIG feature for me is that I don't have to loosen or tighten anything on threads - a must for those older joints in my hands/fingers. The pistol grip level is just a squeeze and the flip releases to extend/retract the leg have completely spoiled me - so much that this is the second 523PX2 I've purchased and this one is my backup!
