The Olympus T-100 Digital Camera is a feature-packed compact (only 3.7 x 2.4 x 0.9") and lightweight (4.3 oz) point & shoot camera that makes your picture taking experience fun and easy. Equipped with a 3x wide-angle optical zoom (equivalent to 36 - 108mm in 35mm format) and 12MP resolution you can get sharp and clear photos with lots of detail for viewing and for beautiful enlargements.
This little camera will also capture VGA video (640 x 480) with sound which can be viewed on its 2.4" LCD display or your computer for sharing with family and friends, and it can be uploaded to YouTube for sharing with a wider audience.
The T-100 has 21 shooting modes built right in, so that you can capture just about any kind of scene you'd like. Plus, with advanced face detection the camera tracks up to 12 faces and automatically focuses and optimizes exposures even in low light situations. These modes, combined with digital image stabilization, give you sharp images that are free of blurring. Powered with a LI-80B Lithium-ion battery (recharged via the included AC adapter) you can enjoy shooting the T-100 for about 190 photos per full battery charge.

- In the T-100's Advanced Face Detection mode, it tracks up to 12 faces and automatically focuses and optimizes exposures for sharp, brilliant portrait pictures.
- Digital Image Stabilization
- The digital image stabilization setting uses higher ISO and faster shutter speeds to capture sharp, blur-free images, even when you're chasing moving targets.
- Intelligent Auto
- The Intelligent Auto setting identifies the scene you're shooting -- portrait, landscape, night portrait, macro, or sport -- and adjusts the settings to optimize results.
- Creative Art Filters
- Using Creative Art Filters you can give your photos a distinct look and artistic feel by applying one of four different Magic Filter effects, including Pop Art, Pinhole, Fisheye and Drawing.
- 21 Shooting Modes
- There are 21 shooting modes built right into the T-100, so that you can photograph just about any kind of scene you'd like...everything from sports photography to macro photography and many other photo specialties.
- VGA Movies With Sound
- You can shoot VGA movies with sound and share them with all your friends, family and coworkers. Or better yet, share your movies on YouTube, using the included software.
- In-Camera Help Guides
- The camera's on-board Help Guides will briefly describe the camera's features and settings at the touch of a button.
- Perfect Fix
- Perfect Fix makes perfect pictures possible by activating two different editing features, post shot, to correct red-eye, and lighting. This feature is built-in so software is not required.
- SD Compatible
- The T-100 supports SD media to better interface with computers, digital picture frames and HDTVs.

I love the compactness of the T-100. I wanted a camera that would fit easily in my purse for those unexpected photo-ops with my children. The quality of the photos is as good as (if not better than) those taken with our larger camera. I've purchased Olympus products in the past, and have always been satisfied with their performance.
The only drawback I have discovered is that this camera has only the LCD screen and no traditional viewfinder. Having a viewfinder is just a personal preference of mine, and doesn't affect the performance of the camera at all.

I bought this camera to have a small sized camera that was easy to carry around when I didn't want to bring my large slr camera. I also just like having a small camera to grab for a quick shot of the family around the house. So far, it works fine for this.
I have noticed that it is rather slow taking the shot after pushing the button, and I have missed a few good shots of the children because of this . . . they look down before it takes.
Other than this, I haven't noticed anything else wrong with the camera.

This is an excellent camera for starters in the photography field. Easy to use and understand the instructions for usage. It has video, wide angle and zoom pictures. I bought 2 of the cameras for my children ages 7 & 9, and they had no trouble using the cameras and its features. It's light weight so it's very easy to get around. I'd reccomend this for young kids to get started with photography, and to adults who want a nice easy camera that takes very good pictures and videos.

This camera is wonderful for just a small, light point and shoot camera that you can easily carry around. So far, the pictures have been focused and clear. Not the greatest in really bright sunlight, but I need to experiment more. It's easy to use- I started using it without even reading the manual. I love the fact that you can fix the picture right on the camera. This has saved some great shots I would normally have deleted.
