Comments about Sunpak 6200DX Digital Tripod (Black):
This is a great tripod for the money...absolutely. I'm using both a Canon T3i and an old Canon A1 on it and it performs well with both. Easy to set-up and I especially like the fact you can lock the legs in the open position, a feature a lot of tripods in this price range don't have. The carrying case was a pleasant surprise. All in all, I'd recommend this tripod to everybody.

Comments about Sunpak 6200DX Digital Tripod (Black):
This tripod was a PLEASANT SURPRISE at a very affordable price point. Found myself using it for everything. Then winter came. The plastic joints tighten-up and any adjustment becomes difficult. No biggie, we adjust to accommodate. However, last night it was 10 degrees and it is HARD to tighten my up/down adjustment. Eventually, as I was twisting to tighten the screw turned the plastic threads into powder. We will see 2nite if that Warranty works!

Comments about Sunpak 6200DX Digital Tripod (Black):
A beauty among all the tripods that I have tested before. If you have a heavy lens, then just use this tripod.
I would love to give 5 star for this product, but had to remove one star because of its weight. Now don't think it is very heavy. Just that a lighter frame would have made life easier.

It's been a while since I've bought a tri-pod this size; love that it's so much lighter. The "snap release" is also very nice. I'm an amateur but this tri-pod feels like a pro.
