Sunpak Compact Monopod 2
The Sunpak Compact Monopod 2 is a super-compact monopod that folds down to a mere 20.5" (52.1cm) and reaches a maximum height of 63.4" (161cm). It can support equipment weighing up to 5 lb (2.3 kg). The Compact Monopod 2 comes with a removable 2-way panhead with a quick release. It features a self-leveling rubber foot, and is built with 5 grooved aluminum leg sections with flip locks and a self-leveling rubber foot which keeps your equipment positioned where you want it to be. It also has a neoprene grip so it can be easily handled in any climate. This compact support is easily transported and is perfect for digital cameras, camcorders, binoculars and spotting scopes.

I use this with Nikon D90 to shoot wildlife in my back yard. The yard is abutting a large nature perserve so I get deer, lots of turkeys, coyotes, and a reproted (but not photographed) bobcat. It is light and easy to use. However, the head has a lot of play, about 5 degrees worth. Seems to be quite sloopy. It is not very noticable once the camera is attached.
