Sunpak Mini LED Flashlight and Lantern (Blue)
Sunpak's Mini LED Flashlight and Lantern measures only 4 x 1.45" (101.6 x 36.8mm) and weighs only 2.5 oz (71 g). With 6 bright energy-saving LEDs, illumination is always at your finger tips. The Mini converts quickly and easily to a lantern for illuminating just about any area by simply sliding the flashlight's reflector up and exposing the LEDs. It is powered by 3 AAA batteries for hours of use. The water-resistant housing has a rubberized non-slip surface. The Mini easily fits into a pocket, backpack, purse, your car's glove compartment or you can carry it with the included wrist strap.

I keep this flashlight in the car as a safety precaution.
My daughter uses the lantern function as a night light in her room at night.
It's a bright white, typical LED light, however I have to put the flashlight end down on a hard surface to use it as a lantern. Originally I wanted to hang it, but too much light is given off. Would be too distracting as a reading light.
Overall I really like it. The LED bulds are energy conserving and it's a useful, small back up flashlight for emergency situations.
