The Fujifilm FinePix JZ300 12 MP Digital Camera (Silver) makes it easy to explore photography from every angle--12 MP resolution, a 10X wide-angle optical zoom lens (equivalent to 28-280mm on a 35mm camera) that will cover just about any subject you're interested in, from landscapes to portraits to sports, and a high resolution 2.7" LCD monitor to help compose your pictures means more fun and less work in your picture-taking.
High sensitivity (up to ISO 3200), CCD Shift Image stabilization and tracking auto focus will help you get sharp pictures in fast-moving sports and low-light situations that wouldn't have been possible without these features. Face detection optimizes exposure and focus for the faces of people in your photos, and SR AUTO scene recognition knows when you're shooting a portrait, at night, a landscape, a close-up macro shot, etc. and gives you the perfect settings for each situation.
And, in a camera body only 0.86" (22mm) thick, you also get HD video and audio with 720p resolution. So, what more do you need to know?

I have only taken a few dozen shots with the JZ300, but it is already apparent this is the best small camera I've ever had my hands on. From wide angle to 10X optical up close zoom, the picture quality is great. I also love the fact that the body is aluminum instead of plastic. I took it into a concert in my pocket & got some great shots from the 18th row, Looks like I'm right up front! This will be great for Golf trips, vacations, & just about anything you can think of, & with B&H's low price you can't go wrong. This would also make a great camera for a college student. (That way you will get to see GOOD pictures!) I haven't had great success in the low light shots in auto mode, but I will read up on the settings. I highly recommend this camera.

My boyfriend has a very complicated camera that takes great pics but I wanted something simpler that wasn't bulky and I could carry with me everywhere to take spur of the moment snapshots. This camera delivers! It is easy to use, small enough to stick in my pocket, and takes great pictures!

I work in a chemical plant and we have to take pictures for records. We already had this camera and needed a second one. It is easy to use. Great zoom. Our pictures are printed at full page size and they are very sharp and clear. Its lightweight and easy to handle.

I bought this to take concert photos. It really did a pretty nice job considering the lighting conditions. Not every pic came out great, but I did get a lot of nice ones. I like the fact you can override the auto settings. Lots of choices for such a decent priced camera.

This camera takes excellent pictures. I am still learning how to use this camera. I don't get anymore "red eyes". I love how long the battery will last and the card holds a lot of pictures. I think I have about 1500 on it so far. Isn't that great! I think it is the greatest camera and I would urge anyone shopping, to try this one. You won't be sorry!
