The Fujifilm Z70 12MP Digital Camera (Blue) may be small (less than 1" thick) and beautiful, and weigh under 4.5 oz, but it's no lightweight when it comes to photography. With 12MP, digital image stabilization, a 5X optical zoom lens (equivalent to 36-180mm on a 35mm camera), light sensitivity up to ISO 1600, a 2.7" high resolution LCD monitor, and one-touch HD video 720p with sound, the Z70 can hold its own in any point-and-shoot company.
Advanced features such as Face Detection (optimizes focus and exposure for the faces in your pictures), SR AUTO scene recognition that diagnoses and applies the best settings for common subjects like Portrait, Night, Beach, Snow, Party, Sport, Landscape, Flower, etc. Plus, an upload function for YouTube/Facebook that makes it simple to post your pictures or videos online make this a very special little companion that you'll love to hang around with.

- Face Detection optimizes people pictures by identifying faces and adjusting focus and exposure to ensure bright, clear results. Red-eye removal automatically detects and corrects flash reflection for a perfect end result. The Face Detection can simultaneously recognize up to 6 faces in a photo. Share your group portraits using the Zoom Up function in playbacks, checking each detected face.
- Face Detection Timer Function
- The Face Detection Self-Timer automatically sets off after the number and position of faces in a scene are detected, snapping the photo at the right moment, with all the faces are in focus and properly exposed. Just the two of you? Couple Timer waits until two faces are close together in the frame. Select "Near," "Close Up" or "Super Close" depending on the level of intimacy you're aiming for! Out and about with your friends? Group Timer mode gives you time to get into position as it waits until the number of faces are detected in the frame. You can select up to 4 faces and enjoy the moment ready to be captured!

The FinePix Z70 features image selection and editing functions that make it easier than ever to upload video clips or still photos to YouTube & FACEBOOK (this function is activated by automatic update after the beginning of March 2010--update will take place automatically when MyFinePix Studio is launched if a PC is connected to internet).
In-camera Movie Edit and Edit for Blog functions let you edit captured images, which can then be marked with a touch of the convenient Upload button. When the FinePix Z70 is connected to a PC, the marked images are uploaded to the designated site, eliminating the need for time-consuming PC-based image processing or selection. MyFinePix Studio detects new images to upload. Upon finding new image to upload, the uploader starts automatically.

I love this camera!!! It is the best camera I have ever owned in my like and i have owned a few, there are several things you can do with it, It has several shooting setting that make getting the right picture very easy and the clarity on the pictures are amazing!

I was looking for something small to carry (I have a nikon 6006). I found this camera to be very hard to hold. Metal was almost slippery. Camera is very small, but the flash was placed in a weird place. Literally, you have to hold the camera with the index & thumb of each hand. All other fingers must be "up" and out of the way or you ruin the flash. Camera slides open very easily, but this can be a bad thing when it turns on in your pocket and the battery is wasted. Lastly, in low light the flash is not enough and the camera did not focus well. I wanted to like this item (I have a fuji underwater camera that I love). I returned this item.

when i first put the battery in the charger to charge it over nite the yellow lite never turn to green. and didn't last long in the camera.
I had another battery and charger andit seems to work. also tried to register the camera on line at the web site listed to register, could not find out how to register my camera
