This is my first camera. It has special features, but it's also made so that a novice like me can easily use it.

Comments about Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FH20 Digital Camera (Blue):
I bought this camera for a recent trip. I am not a "photographer," so I wanted a camera which would be easy to use in all settings (day, night, indoors, outdoors) without having to change the settings. I took hundreds of photos in different light settings and using the zoom feature while using only the IA (Intelligent Auto) setting. Every picture turned out great. Flash pictures were never too bright and outdoor shots were spectacular. Battery life was good with battery life remaining over 3 days and hundreds of shots.
There was a bit of a lag in writing to the card even using a Class 6 SDHC card with plenty of capacity, but as I wasn't taking action shots, it wasn't a big issue. In the future, I will try a Class 10 SDHC card to try to improve lag time.
Overall, for the price, this is a great-performing, easy-to-use camera.

Comments about Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FH20 Digital Camera (Blue):
Bought a series of Panasonic cameras for a wedding one of which was the FH-20. Camera is step up from FH-2, which were given out. FH-20 has larger lens, more zoom power. Excellent shots in daylight. Flash is adequate for close up night or indoor shooting, but any distance pics become grainy. This is to be expected. No shutter lag, compact enough for pocket and good size LCD. I shoot Canon Digital SLR as my main camera, but have found Panasonic point and shoots to be reliable for these types of scenarios, with no repair issues.

I use camera for general picture taking and extreme close ups of small items. It has features found in many higher priced cameras and is backed by Panasonic's reputation for reliability. A great product with a reasonable price.

Comments about Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FH20 Digital Camera (Blue):
I love my camera! It's super easy to use. Photos are great. Zoom is awesome. Great for those far out shots. I got this camera to have a pocket size camera for everyday use. I also have a larger lumix with a longer zoom. I have to say though, that this little guy is almost as good as my larger camera. I would recommend this camera to anyone who wants a quality compact point & shoot camera! This camera does very well in low light situations. I was able to capture photos at a concert with low lighting & didn't have to use the flash.

This is the perfect camera when you are on the go and do not have the space for the DSLR. Great picture quality and zoom range. Nice flash, good in low light and produces awesome color photos. This is by far the best pocket camera that I have owned. I bought one last year for myself and this purchase was a second one for my wife.

This camera has great image quality, is super simple to use, has a great weight to it - doesnt feel light and cheaply made. The buttons are positioned well and both the on/off and camera/playback view buttons are actual switches, which is a nice feature.

I actually bought this as a gift for a friend. This was her first camera and I wanted to get her something that would give quality pictures but still be easy to use. This is a great little 'everyday' camera. Small enough to slip into a pocket but not too small like some where they are difficult to use. Picture quality is sharp, colors are good. Good macro, optical zoom range is very useful and it does well in lower light situations than any of the other point and shoots I've used. Very user friendly. I think this is the best overall point and shoot out there right now.

Great Camera. This is my second Panasonic Lumix Camera. I also own the FZ28. The FH20 makes a great addition. Size is perfect for jean pockets. Picture quality is very good. For this camera I leave it on IA (Intelligent Auto) and the camera is spot on every time. I'm going to buy another one for a gift.

Being a photographer, it was difficult for me to pick out a camera for my daughter. For the money, I think this camera has a lot to offer; 14 mgs, 720 hd video, 8X zoom. It was also easy for my 11 year old to use. She took great pictures as soon as she opened it. We are very happy with this purchase!
