Comments about Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FH1 Digital Camera (Pink):
I bought this for my wife because she wanted a small, super easy to use, camera that would take good pictures in low light situations. The intelligent auto, f/2.8 lens, and optical stabilization were all key features. Plus it was less money that others for the same features.
I am very pleasantly surprised at how well it works. In full auto it is very good at getting everything right or very close. The optical image stabilization works very well. Of course, that's helped by the fast lens - which she mostly shoots at wide angle anyway.
It isn't going to replace any dSLR, but it's a great, easy, point & shoot with some features to make better photos.
Highly recommended.

I gave it to my girlfriend as a present. She loves the color. She doesn't use it for anything professional by any means, but for a casual photographer, it's perfect.

Comments about Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FH1 Digital Camera (Pink):
My wife wanted a compact camera to carry around in her purse full time - and this does the job quite well. The picture quality is very good for a camera in this price range. It wouldn't hurt to have a little bit more manual control - but, it's hard to expect that sort of thing without paying a little bit more.

Comments about Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FH1 Digital Camera (Pink):
Perhaps the best camera that comes in Pink!
I bought it for my daughter so it had to be pink but also had to take acceptable quality pictures,
not like some other cameras in this colour...
It's a decent camera with wide angle lens and Image Stabilization.
Not too small so can be used by an adult with bigger fingers, you won't press two buttons at a time. Big display, solid durable construction.
There is too many scene modes for me. I'd rather see one manual mode or aperture/time priority. Overall good camera, I borrow it quite often now mainly due to wide angle lens.
Otherwise I'm a Canon guy.
