Pros: The burn speed on this unit is fine-- much better than going one by one from a computer.
Cons:
We bought this unit mostly for the Lightscribe feature, which has been a disappointment.
• You have to flip each burned disc over to let it Lightscribe. Time-consuming and awkward.
• To Lightscribe text across the front of the disc takes 20-25 minutes EACH (faster write times available if you choose to have text written in a small circle on the disc face.)
• Lightscribe software is not very intuitive (unless you're PC).
• Must layout disc face in Photoshop, which seems like an unnecessary step just to print a DVD face.
