Aleratec 1:2 DVD/CD Copy Cruiser Pro HLX Win/Mac
The 1:2 DVD/CD Copy Cruiser Pro HLX Win/Mac from Aleratec allows you to duplicate DVD or CD discs. The duplicator features dual DVD burners. In standalone mode, the duplicator acts as a standard 1:1 system, reading data from one disc and copying to the other. It can be connected to a computer via USB 2.0, allowing you to burn two discs simultaneously, using the computer as a data source. LightScribe technology allows you to print labels directly to the surface of supported discs, saving you time and money on using a separate printer.
When burning from a computer, you can write different data and different labels to each of the burner trays. Additionally, two 1:2 DVD/CD Copy Cruiser Pro HLX Win/Mac can be managed from one computer, doubling output and increasing flexibility.

One of the few mac compatible duplicators on the market and a very good one at that. Simply plug in to your pc/mac and away you go, the interface of the included software is very easy to use and quick to install. I wanted to back up work files and keep a duplicate off site, and being able to burn 2 discs at once is perfect. I would highly recommend to anyone, it may not be pretty but pretty doesn't get the job done.

Right out of the box, the Aleratec disc copier makes perfect DVD copies. I purchased it to make copies of our company's films for sale. I chose this unit since it works with PCs and MACs and because it burns Lightscribe disc covers.
I am not as happy with the Lightscribe disc covers since they are very muted. I had problems with the software, it is not very intuitive.
SUMMARY: I would definitely recommend this brand, but would buy the less expensive stand alone unit without the Lightscribe function.
