The 1:1 Hard Disk Drive PortaCruiser from Aleratec is a hard disk drive (HDD) duplicator for 2.5" and 3.5" SATA HDDs. The simple interface makes it easy to copy one HDD from another. The PortaCruiser also functions as a RAID controller, with support for RAID 0, RAID 1, and JBOD. The compact design makes the PortaCruiser easy to take with you for a portable HDD duplicating solution.

This great little unit has already allowed me to recover data from and repair a SATA laptop drive, SATA 3.5" drive and a PATA 3.5" drive. All within my first few weeks of use. Great device.
Haven't used the copy or RAID functions yet, but I'm sure they're just as straightforward.

It works. We use it to clone 1TB sata-ii drives, all seagate. It takes ~5.5 hours to do this. It claims it can do 66.6MBps on paper. USB is slow, maxes out @ 26MBps. Except for label, it's the same as the Startech branded one. Pretty easy to use, has a verify function. Probably would have purchased a Kanguru mini instead.
