The Opteka X-TREME 58mm 0.3X HD Super Fisheye Lens Adapter uses multi-coated, low-dispersion glass to produce crisp, high-definition video images. Great for dramatic effects and extremely wide fields of view--think sports, think dream sequences, think the HAL-9000 computer--this fisheye adapter screws onto the front of your existing camcorder lens and bends a 180° view into a peephole-style circle. Straight lines become curved, noses become bulbous, eyes become goggly, and objects in your viewfinder will be closer than they appear.

I'm using this lens with my Canon HF-S10 Camcorder. When I began shopping for a new fisheye lens I wanted one that would would give me that "fisheye" effect but lightly. This lens gives you 180 degrees of sight and distorts the scene lightly when far away but if you want a certain object to bend all you have to do is get close to the object you are filming.The lens is of utmost quality and comes with a nice lens bag with lens cloth and front and rear lens caps. I'm really impressed with the results I'm getting with it!

This is an excellent lens. Gives you a very broad field of view and that fisheye effect, all at a reasonable price.
One thing to keep in mind is that it is fairly heavy. I would say that it's better for a camcorder than a more fragile camera lens.

This lens is used for skateboarding videos and other events. I bought this more to use as a wide-angle because it captures a wide field of view. So far, I have been satisfied with this product and the clarity of the lens.

i am a skateboard cinematographer and its not as wide as i had hoped. i expected to be able to get super close like i did with my last lens for my previous camera an ultra .3 from opteka. im getting a new one for mine now. this is amazing for its price though. its been a great lens honestly. and id suggest this for first timers if your looking for a semi pro lens to get used to. it doesnt shatter easiley. 15+ hits and no breaks or scratches yet.

I was under the impression this adapter lens was for a camera lens, it is for a camcorder. It did fit on the end of my camera lens but completely out of focus.
