This adapter allowed me to attach the HP TouchSmart 300 to an Ergotron MX desk mounted arm. Setup was straightforward, but the screws that the instructions say are included were not in the box. I was able to complete the installation by reusing the screws I removed from the computer in the course of removing the original rear stand and front feet.
I also have the HP TouchSmart 310, but contrary to what HP told me, the 310 is a very different design from the 300 and this adapter does NOT fit the 310.
