The black and white digital imaging of the Sightmark Digital Wraith 2x28 DVS-14T Tactical Night Vision Monocular from Yukon is a refreshing change from the typical green-on-green viewing from most image intensification systems. The refined quality of this spectacular optic outperforms most 1st generation, and some 2nd generation, systems. Unlike most garden-variety night vision devices, the Wraith can be used operated during the day without concern - the digital system includes a brightness control circuit that adjusts to whatever lighting scenario is at hand. Under total-darkness conditions the integral IR illuminator provides the ability to see without being seen.
The Wraith monocular features a magnification level of 3.0x - an excellent choice for general outdoor viewing. Its housing is designed for ergonomic functionality, with a durable and protective rubberized armor coating. This lightweight monocular is an excellent viewing aid for enhancing recreational activities, as well as professional surveillance applications.
