Cinevate's Uno DSLR Rig answers the question, "Okay, I've got my DSLR, so now how do I shoot video that won't induce motion sickness?" Because as amazing as the video coming out of these cameras can be, smoothing out the bumps and jiggles on a device designed for shooting stills can often be tricky. The Uno introduces two additional points of contact between you and your camera--chest and hand--leaving one hand free for focusing and other adjustments.
With a foundation consisting of an industry-standard 15mm carbon fiber rod chassis and camera baseplate, the Uno provides a unique link system--and a variety of optional camera platforms--that allow for endless configuration to suit your body type and shooting preferences. Follow focus, long lens support, shoe mounts and other 15mm rod-based accessories can be easily added, allowing for even more professional-looking results.
The base plate ejects straight up and offers a multitude of configurations, none of which protrudes below the rails. Height, XY adjustment, rake angle and placement of the rails blocks are all variable. The base plate is also the basis of our shoulder support system.
The Proteus Quick-Release System ships with a Manfrotto 501 sliding plate which works with Manfrotto 501 and 503 tripod heads. If you are using a RC2 or 516 type plate, our base plate system adjusts to fit.
