The Shadow 5x50 Night Vision Monocular from Yukon pulls the cloak of darkness off of impenetrable no/low-light scenarios; the Shadow transforms night into day with the flip of a switch. This Shadow incorporates a digital night vision system that can be used in day or nighttime.
The Shadow monocular features a durable ergonomic housing with a rugged rubber-armored exterior. Inside there's a very effective digital intensification system that delivers high-quality no/low-light viewing. An integral IR illuminator provides ample auxiliary illumination for total darkness conditions.
The Shadow 5x50 offers high-powered 5.0x magnification for long-range outdoor viewing. This user-friendly DNVD is well suited for a broad range of recreational and professional applications; home security, hunting, professional surveillance, boating, nature observation, and camping.
All NVDs sold by B&H feature bright-light protection systems. However, this does not mean that bright light can/will not damage the device. Exposure to bright light compromises the longevity and performance of image intensifier tubes.
