The Fast Forward Video DigiDeck Digital Video Recorder is a broadcast quality DVR for industrial video applications. It records video in the MJPEG compression method at 30 FPS and offers a chroma sampling of 4:2:2. Video files are saved in the QuickTime format and are stored to an internal 2.5" SATA drive. A built-in multiplexer allows simultaneously video recording and live output through analog composite and Y/C ports.
For efficient storage management, video compression ratios can be set from 4:1 to 20:1. Two audio channel inputs allow sound to be recorded in sync with the video. A front panel touch screen provides quick access to recording and playback functions. There is also a jog-shuttle controller for reviewing the video backwards and forwards frame by frame. An RS 422 connector allows remote wired control from a local PC.
