The Astro Design DM-3105-06 is a Sony Lithium Ion Battery Mount for the DM-3105 wide angle LCD monitor. When attached, the DM-3105 can be powered by Sony's line of camera batteries used primarily for powering cameras. This allows users of Sony video products to easily integrate the DM-3105 display without having to purchase additional proprietary methods or power. The converter is especially useful for field work.
