The G51J 3D Notebook Computer from ASUS is a cutting-edge notebook computer, capable of true 3D gaming. The system features a dedicated nVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M graphics card with 1GB of DDR3 memory and PhysX support. This works with the included nVIDIA 3D Vision active shutter glasses to create an immersive 3D gaming experience. The computer's 15.6" display features a LED backlight, 720p resolution, and stunning 120Hz speed.
The system is powered by an Intel i7-720QM quad-core CPU which, coupled with the graphics card, can really push up frame rates in complex 3D video games. Thanks to Intel Turbo Boost Technology and the ASUS LevelUp function, you can overclock the system's CPU to up to 2.8GHz for enhanced peformance.
Storage is handled by a 640GB (2x320GB) 7200rpm hard drive system, giving you ample space for games and media. The computer boasts 4GB of RAM, a SuperMulti DVD burner, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a 2MP webcam. An Altec Lansing sound system provides crisp and clear audio output for a true multimedia experience. Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) is the installed operating system.

The notebook is mainly my entertainment centre: gaming, HD movie, processing Photos and video. So far I am very happy with it. 3D gaming is totally new experience to me and I love it, although one of my friend feels dizzy when watching the 3D content. I also tried 2D-3D conversion for realtime video (HD) and Photos. It works well with my new Sony NEX3 digital camera. It starts up very quickly and works very quitely, unless I run some resource-consuming operations such as demanding games or video compression. Key components temperature is acceptable as for its high performance. The only thing not totally happy is the layout of USB and audio output. However not a big issue. I give it an overall A+.
