User friendly, great auto modes as well as some intricate stuff for those who are more into photography and in the know. There are very few cameras out there with the same specs and those that are are not even close to being in the same price range. Has all the gimmicky details like smile and blink detection but only reserved for portrait mode when you'd most likely need them. In fact, all modes are well thought out. Panoramic assist is difficult to use right out of box and isn't an "auto" feature (requires disabling certain features in order to work well.)

I am a professional photographer that also teaches seminars on small point and shoot cameras. I wanted something to slip into my purse to catch the quick shots normally missed when I am without my pro gear. This camera does a nice job at this. I use a variety of scenes and keep a piece of plastic nearby to diffuse the flash. Overall the Nikon Coolpix L110 is very easy to use and much more inconspicuous than my large pro set up.

Comments about Nikon Coolpix L110 Digital Camera (Red):
I would like to say that if you do not want to go out and spend all the money on a DSLR, the L110 is the camera for you. Although it is not as advanced as its predecessor the l120, the l110 offers great shots for the family oriented. Sitting at 12.1mp, this camera can wow just about anybody. The only downside I have noticed is that this camera does not shoot well in low light (take into account that this is just a point and shoot) The color is pretty awesome as well. The large LCD screen aso puts it ahead of just any old regular point and shoot. The body style of this camera makes it fairly easy to hold and comfortable to boot. I would mostly recommend this camera to the family oriented. Shoots in 720p, for those who like to take family videos. For the money, this is perfect.

This camera was advertised as "refurbished" but I cannot find ANY difference between this and a brand new model. Great job, [...] very impressed. A++

A superb camera for a non-SLR point and shoot. Lightweight and easy grip. Small enough to carry in a purse. The 15x zoom lense is great for close-ups. Perfect for travel.
The price is very reasonable for casual amateurs who can't afford an SLR but want higher quality and a few more options than available in most other point and shoot digitals.
Has a large easy to see monitor, although still cannot replace a viewfinder. The on-off button is a bit slow but better than others in its class. Focus not always 100% accurate. Eats up AA batteries quickly.
All in all, highly recommend!

I use the camera for scenery and kids' and animal pictures. I love the new video set-up. It is now separate from the other settings on my year old L100 and is much easier to use. The camera is extremely user friendly. I haven't had time to read the directions yet, but am still using it easily. My son borrowed it and fell in love with it. I haven't yet found any negatives.

It has the look and feel of an expensive camera but at a relatively low cost. I really like the red color too. We had a Nikon pocket size Coolpix, but my wife wanted the large aperture lens and more zoom. This was a perfect compromise between cost and quality.

Comments about Nikon Coolpix L110 Digital Camera (Red):
It's a great camera, I am still learning some features so I am not sure how good it is. So far I am happy with what I see. I take pictures mostly to my family and friends. The only concern is that some pictures are very blurry, and the flash doesn't work all the time. I guess I need to learn more about it. The red is a great color too,and the camera is very light.......

Comments about Nikon Coolpix L110 Digital Camera (Red):
Bought this for my wife. She picked this one because of the red color, so I was concerned that might be it's best feature. I was glad to find out it does have more to offer; it takes nice pictures. I have a Sony H55 that I bought earlier this year and I must say, the Nikon takes better pictures. Its larger than most point-and-shoot cameras, so you have to physically 'try-on' cases to find one that it fits. Also, you have to open the flash in order to activate it. I kept expecting the flash to open automatically if there was low light; it doesn't. Still a decent camera at this price.

Comments about Nikon Coolpix L110 Digital Camera (Red):
I bought this camera because it has extra wide range and macro. I'm not sure if the product description mentioned about the macro. When I found out about that on Nikon's site, I decided to get this one as a back up. I tested under all lighting conditions and lens range. I got some amazing pictures of the Sears Tower. Standing nearly at the base of the tower I still captured the entire building with the wide lens. At the longest range 75mm, I got my first large full moon with a tripod. It is awesome!Compared to the other Nikon cameras I owned before, this one take a little time to get used to. The first few shots I took all came out blurry. I was quite frustrated and thought it didn't work properly. Then I found out that it was because at the longest lens range 75mm, the minimum focus range is much farther away. And it requires a much shorter exposure time than if you use a regular zoom camera like those that only zoom like between 35 and 140mm. Fortunately, the LCD shows the shutter speed so you know if your speed is too slow. Also, although the descriptions says this is a low light camera, it does the best when it is sunny. Also when you shoot at ISO 6400 or 3200, it only allows you to save the image at 3mg, not 12mg. The images came out OK but not really useful in my view. However, for a price tag of [$], this camera is great buy. If you look for your first camera, don't miss it. It will take you a while to grow out of it, just like any other Nikon camera. It takes time to fall in love with it. :)

I bought this camera for general use at work - newsletters, employee photos, etc. It's been great. It takes really sharp pictures and is easy to use. I wish it had come with a memory card because I had assumed it would and the ad did not say that you needed to purchase one.

Great camera that is not too heavy but really packs a punch on taking great pictures. Easy to use and Easy to hold. Very nice sized LCD screen displays the pictures with fantastic clarity. So far it has been excellent at capturing my kids playing sports. Plus the video option has been really useful as now I don't have to lug around 2 pieces of equipmnet. If I had to pick a negative...it would be that this camera takes AA Batteries. But over all I really like this camera!

Comments about Nikon Coolpix L110 Digital Camera (Red):
Bot this for our son for his birthday. He loves it and has had fun experimenting with all the things he can do with it. It has a great zoom on it although if you want to shoot something up close you need to move into macro mode. Some photos he took at twilight did not focus well; when he moved it into sports mode because there were a lot of kids running around there was a great deal of noise in the photos. But overall it is a great camera with a lot of functions, good focus and versatility for the price. If a long zoom is important, this is a good camera to look at.
