The Sony DVP-FX750 7" Portable DVD Player (Black) is a perfectly affordable portable widescreen DVD player you can use around the house, on the road and outdoors.
When you're playing outdoors you'll appreciate the FX750's three-hour battery life and textured design that insures you keep a firm grip as you move it about.
Wherever you use it you'll also appreciate the wide variety of DVDs and CDs it can play. You can even view JPEG pictures and listen to MP3 files. And you can enjoy your music with a friend without disturbing others with the two built-in headphone jacks. (Headphones sold separately.)
When you take it on the road, don't forget the FX750's car adapter. With a stack of DVDs you can keep the kids in the backseat entertained for hours. When you're in more spacious settings you'll find the remote control comes in handy.

i wanted a portable dvd player with a relatively small screen for video/sculpture installations...
this one is great and easy to use. (although i've had it less than a week, so durability is still in question.)
the only thing that disappoints is that the remote cannot power the player on and off. this will make it impossible for me to install the player and switch it on remotely, which is what i had in mind.

I got this DVD player to entertain my daughter on a long airplane ride and it will be just perfect. Small & lightweight enough to carry easily and it looks really nice too. I love Sony products and feel you pretty much can't go wrong with them. Is very straightforward, easy to operate and picture is good. I wish the battery life was a little longer, but I think 3 hours is pretty typical for similar devices. Very happy with our purchase.

This is by far the best dvd player I`ve owned. Feature packed and comes with everything. Even batteries for the remote. Whoever is looking for this type of product, look no further. It has really good loud volume for a portable. Also it`s good you can`t overcharge your battery, if you decide to use A/C power. Worth more. Good battery life if you charge/discharge your battery about 4 or 5 times to condition it, before regular use.

We bought two players: one for a three year old and one for a five year old. Both boys love their player. They are compact in size, light in weight, have a great picture and great sound - we could even hear them on the airplane. The three year old dropped his on the pavement and it still works beautifully, so they are obviously pretty durable too.
