The Apantac DVI-4-SE 4-Port Splitter/Extender with Audio is designed to allow video and audio transmission over Cat5 (Ethernet) cabling. By traveling over Cat5, video can be transmitted over long distances without adding significant cost.
The unit is cable of handling resolutions up to 1920 x 1200, making it fully compatible with 1080p signals. The durable and compact frame takes up only 1RU in any standard 19" EIA racking system. Additionally, the DVI-4-SE is completely compatible with DDC2B protocol, providing additional plug n' play capability.
- Multiply (1) DVI-D and audio source to 2/4/8 DVI-D and audio outputs over Cat 5/5e/6 and 4-wire phone cable.
- 1.65GHz video amplifier bandwidth.
- Stereo audio over 4-wire (RJ-11) phone cable up to 330' (100 m).
- Built-in EDID simulation in receivers.
- Computer can boot up DVI signal without connecting a local monitor.
- LED status to indicate the DVI activity.
- Cascadable to allow expansion.
- Magnetic pad and attachable metal plate for single port receiver, initial preset range of frequency is up to 1920 x 1200.
