The Apantac DVI-500-SC DVI to Fiber Extender is a 1640.4' / 500 m cable designed to provide additional range for DVI cable connection, most commonly used to transmit high definition digital signals to PCs and HDTVs. This multi-mode fiber optic cable connects via the standard SC fiber connector and is configured in a single-link mode.
This pre-assembled model comes fitted with a 1640.4' / 500 m SC cable, making it easy to get up and running. The unit is completely HDCP compatible, supports DDC2B (Display Digital Channel) protocol for plug and play capability. Additionally, with this system, users can attach longer SC fiber cables up to 1640.4' (500 m) in length.
