Tenba 27" Apple iMac with Wheels Air Case
The Tenba 27" Apple iMac with Wheels Air Case (Black) is designed to carry, ship and protect an Apple 27" iMac desk computer with keyboard, mouse and cables. The case is built to meet or exceed ATA shipping standards. The Air Case construction comprises a multi-layered skeleton of air-channeled plastic panels, high-density foam, and specially-molded framing components, with a heavily reinforced ballistic nylon outer shell. They are strong enough to stand on, even when empty. It has wide, unrestricted openings that provide fast, easy access to the contents. There is a Datapanel that integrates a shipping document window, a business card holder, and an engravable metal I.D. plate. The air case is transported by a carry handle and a heavy-duty 2-wheel assembly.

This is my second Air Case and I couldn't be happier. Tenba does a great job in both build quality (I'm well over 230lbs and can sit on this thing without is so much as bending) and custom fitting. If you travel with your iMac as often as I do this case is a must have and a no-brainer. My first Air Case is over 3 years old now, and despite bouncing its way around the country several times, it looks exactly the same as the day I bought it.
The big downside is, obviously, most people aren't going to want to spend approx. 1/4 the cost of the computer for a case to put it in. All I can say in response is that the 27" design isn't going anywhere for a while, the foam on the inside can be easily repositioned for new gear, and that as well as this thing is built it'll easily outlast the lifespan of the iMac you're putting in it, and probably several more after.
Must have for the well-equipped road dog!

I've searched several case for my 27" apple imac but most of them are either more heavy or poorly designed.
This item is perfect designed for 27" apple imac. No matter what kind of way you are on your travel, mac are perfectly protected. well, there is one shortcoming, namely, weight. But only by this way, can the mac be well protected.

We purchased two of these for transporting our 27" iMacs to and from conferences. We check them as luggage or put them with our freight - either way I feel safe. They are a breeze to move, and the numerous handles make it convenient to grab from any position. The only drawback is there isn't a designed space for the keyboard, but we used the adjustable pockets to hold the keyboard box. Pricey, but you get what you pay for.
