The Clik Elite Trekker Waist Pack (Black) is designed to carry a D-SLR camera with attached lens, additional lenses and essential accessories. The pack is made from 1680 denier ballistic nylon with 420 denier high-tenacity nylon trim and a fully lined interior. A weather-resistant zipper protects the main compartment and opens away from the body for easy access. There is a padded camera compartment with movable dividers that protects and organizes compact SLR cameras and extra lenses. It has compression wings that stabilize the load from the front of the pack for a secure, comfortable carry. It has a large front accessory pocket that organizes batteries, memory cards, and small accessories, a quick-stash area behind the front pocket that holds a small jacket and stretch-mesh side pockets that can tote water bottles and other quick-access items. It is carried by a grab handle, a removable, adjustable shoulder strap with a pad that attaches to hide-away D-rings, a detachable, padded, contour, tuck-away waist belt that comfortably cradles the hips.

Comments about Clik Elite Trekker Waist Pack (Black):
small, fits a camera with a lens (ie nikon d90 and 18-200) plus two additional lenses.
pay attention: big lenses (as the 70-300 vr) are too long to be inserted while connected to the camera.

Comments about Clik Elite Trekker Waist Pack (Black):
First, I love Click Elite products. As an avid photographer and outdoor enthusiast, I appreciate the company's stylish designs and rugged materials used in their product line. That's why when I started looking for a small bag to supplement my Clik Elite backpack for short day hikes and around-town excursions I was confident in choosing the Trekker Waist Pack. The Trekker offers flexibility in wearing the pack facing towards your front or back, but having my gear in front of me for easy access was appealing, and the fact that the pack could also be used as a small shoulder bag sold me on the waist pack.
The size of the waist pack was smaller than I expected and it did not protrude uncomfortably from my waist. However, being smaller in size also limits the camera gear that can be carried. The interior camera compartment is well-padded and measures approximately 8"h x 9"w x 5"d. Note the manufacture's exterior dimensions of 8.5" x 11.5" x 8" may be confusing if used to estimate the amount of camera equipment that can be stored. This smaller size is good for compact SLR equipment, but eliminates the possibility of carrying pro-sized camera bodies.
The only negative comment I have on the design is the rain fly cover and bottom compartment that holds it. It is difficult to fit the rain fly into the small Velcro-closing bottom compartment and it makes the pack too bulgy underneath to sit properly. The rain fly can easily be removed and stored in the small front compartment to eliminate this problem.

For carrying a large SLR with lens and large external flash... no more.
