I rented this dome port for two weeks and Aqua Tech DC-5 v2 Underwater Sports Housing for my Canon 5D Mark II during a local underwater mermaid modeling shoot both in my pool and at a local creek both at the surface and had it down to a maximum depth of 20 feet.Make sure the zoom rotation wheel is pulled fully out when putting lens inside port or you won't be able to get the lens inside the port. Despite calling the support line for help and trying to follow the instructions I could never get the zoom function to work once inside the housing.The zoom control collar that mates with the zoom turn wheel while easy to mount never seemed to mesh correctly and I could never get it to zoom at all. I ended up using it all the way wide at 17mm anyway since most of my time was underwater. But for surface shooting it would have been nice to have this function.Very easy to mount no tools required just tighten down by hand until the label is pointing straight up. And doesn't hurt to make sure the Port Cover is in place when not in use.And I really love the way the small optical port does not stick out like the one for the fisheye much less chance of damage.Conclusion:Really small easy to handle semi-protected port adds little bulk to the housing and the good price means I will probably buy this port instead of renting the Aqua Tech - LP-1 6" Dome Port for Canon 15mm fisheye the future.Feel free to contact me if you have any other questions at grantbrummett[@]
