I put this tv in a small bedroom (12x12) on the wall. The size of the tv is great, picture looks ok but the sound is really weird - almost an echoing loudness. I tried all the different settings but nothing really helps. I also noticed that I can turn it down to volume #4 (it goes up past #50) and it still is really loud. When I turn it to #3 it is totally muted. I would not buy this tv again simply b/c the sound is so terrible. I wanted a tv for a spare bedroom for guests that wasn't expensive like all my other tvs and was willing to have something with a little worse picture and sound quality... but this sound quality is really terrible. I had a similar Dynex in that room before and it was actually cheaper than this tv... I wish I had just gotten that one again!
