The TFDVD1595 15" LCD TV/DVD Player from Coby is intelligently designed and can be found in any room of the house due to its space saving design. The compact built in television/DVD player provides a USB and SD card reader allowing you to enjoy digital movies and photographs.
The built-in digital tuner means you don't need a set-top box to watch digital TV. This is a true 720p HDTV, designed from the ground up for maximum entertainment value. The 6-watt integrated speaker system helps create a large enveloping sound field from only two speakers. The TFDVD1595 includes a host of convenience features, such as V-Chip parental controls, closed captioning, electronic program guide support, and a sleep timer, to mention just a few. And they're all at your fingertip command with the included full-function remote control

A bit apprehensive on purchasing this product. Initially saw it in one of the local stores using a dozen as sales display devices, on 18 hours a day for the last six months. Examined one closely and was impressed by the features. The store manager was quite happy with them in this use, no failures so far. Got the model number, did a little searching on the manufacture's site and available suppliers. [...] An amazing device, and have wondered why other manufacturers have not come up with this type of multi use item before now. So far, so good. Discovering a few new features each day that were not completely covered in the tech manual, which incidentally is a good one. Many various applications come to mind as one works with it. The DVD player function seems to play several discs that other players will not. It doesn't seem to like one or two odd ball video formats, but the most common formats present no problems. Audio level especially outside seemed a bit on the low side, but that is to be expected. Indoors, quite adequate. Friendly observers couldn't seem to keep their hands off the gem, it drew quite a crowd. Quite happy with it so far.

I could not fast forward, rewind, scene select, etc. The unit was not one bit useful because the scene selection was a vital part of the home school curriculum we were wanting to use the unit for. I bought the unit for my boat, but have ordered a 2nd one for home. Light, compact, and a great little combo unit. Clear sharp viewing. Only issue I see if you need to play with the sound quality a little out of the box, but once it is set up - great! Even works well as a second screen for my laptop.

Colby is not a product name that I would normally look at, but this TV had pretty good reviews and it was priced very good from B&H. I am very happy with it so far. Very good picture & sound is OK but not great.

I had to return the first unit because the screen did not work. B&H was very helpful in the process. The second one came a few days later and has worked very nicely. We have an HD Fios Box attached and the picture is just fine. The DVD option is nice to have as this is in my son's room and he loves movies. I would recommend to anyone looking for a good second or third tv.

I use this TV for a few different uses. It gets used as a video monitor in our auditorium for the orchestra conductor to see the action on stage. Because of all the different options for cable jacks I am also able to use this TV/DVD player as the playing device for DVD and patch it into the auditoriums projector and sound system. I am then able to monitor the video on the TV and have it projected onto a big screen. The size makes it easy to move around and in a small orchestra pit it is easy to find room for it.

Bought this for my new kitchen. For the most part, this set is really nice. So far it plays very good with just the cable input and no box. Some channels come in better than others. The built in DVD is great!. One of my favorite features of this tv is the aspect ratio. For me it is a must have to be able to go from 16:9 to 4:3. My only peave so far is the remote isn't very good. It's a bit confusing and also when in tv mode, it is sluggish in responding to commands. You may have to press channel up or down more than once to change channel. Overall though, I love this tv/dvd. It also has a great look to it. Very stylish. I would recommend this set.

This TV was to be used in a small bedroom.
It was easy to set up and had a nice sleek design.
Unfortunately, even though it was attached to cable it had problems and dropped the color and the signal on some stations.
The picture quality on the other stations was good, but the sound a bit tinny.
