I bought this as a replacment for my original power cord that stopped working. It works great and I love having a usb port for charging! I use it for my ipod or phone. I also like that I have two options when plugging it into the wall. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because the overall length is much shorter than my original adapter. This makes it a pain when a plug is not nearby.

This product is used for remote Laptop power so I don't need to use the primary adapter. It's flexible, smaller than the primary adapter and works just as well.

I found my need of an AC adapter because I lost a power cord that came with the AC adapter when I ordered my HP Pavilion laptop. I called HP up and they said that the power cord sold for $50 with $11 shipping. I told them that they were crazy and that I wouldn't be ordering from them at all. I then came across B&H. This adapter was slim and redesigned so that you don't actually need a power cord. The compact design is great when space matters, and it makes your life much easier if you find the need to carry it around, especially in a sleeve. Performance wise, I think it's similar to the one that ships standard with all HP laptops.[...]At first, I thought that I needed my laptop alot (you can't really use a laptop w/o power) [...] perfect condition. I will definitely recommend this product and to order it from B&H. [...]a great product.

At first i was hesitant to get this since i thought it was a bit pricey for a small charger. But then i realize that the design and how compact the thing is, makes it all worth it and so much more. The interchangeable pins comes in really handy, and the "locking" cord attachment system works great for those who accidentally trip and unplug the power cord.
Overall, very satisfied with the purchase. I wouldnt suggest any other laptop charger than this one.
