Comments about Pyle Pro PDC22 Direct Box:

I like that it does not require AC power. It is hard to hold on to these units because folks beg for me to hand over the Pyle Pro Direct Box. They are so affordable I ordered two the last time. The best way to connect your video projector audio output into an XLR connection in your sound system.

Comments about Pyle Pro PDC22 Direct Box:

it is a passive stereo di box.it could have a bit more durable construction, but as is it functions well. for the price you can't beat it. i would try to be gentile with it, but it does work well. popped it in line from my unbalanced aux outs on my mixer to my powered monitors and it took the hum out of my system. did the job i bought it to do, and for this price...

Comments about Pyle Pro PDC22 Direct Box:

i bought three of these for keyboards at a church. we ran 3 keyboards in stereo. with all 3 Roland keyboards i found that i needed to keep the keyboard main volume control at or below halfway point to keep the DI's from sounding bad and distorting. they are OK for cheap, but i would look elsewhere if you want Pro quality.

Comments about Pyle Pro PDC22 Direct Box:

I used the PDC22 Direct Box in a permanent installation for converting an unbalanced signal to balanced for use in a high powered bar/nightclub sound system. Installation was simple and the product sounds clear an crisp. There is no interference over approximately 250 feet of signal cable. I highly recommend this product.

Comments about Pyle Pro PDC22 Direct Box:

When I had previously tried to feed the output of the church's audio mixer subchannels into my Canon HD camcorder I got a lot of hum and the mixer sliders had to stay down at -30db to prevent overload. I used this dual DI box to isolate the camera to eliminate the hum and to attenuate the signal by -20db. Now the mixer sliders are up where I have some control over the levels. From mixer to DI I used some short 1/4" patch cords. From the DI to the camcorder I used Hosa cable with two XLR females feeding a stereo 1/8" plug. Total solution was less than $40 and it works great.
