The XGA (1024 x 768) resolution InFocus IN104 Mobile DLP Projector is a lightweight and compact workhorse that can pump out 2700 lumens of brightness at a 1500:1 contrast ratio on a continuous 24/7 duty cycle. It weighs about five pounds and its footprint is about the size of a sheet of US letter paper.
Thanks to its 0.55" DLP DMD imaging panel (the part that forms the image) it can crank out vivid, true-to-life pictures and they can be in the NTSC, PAL or SECAM video systems or the full gamut of high definition HD formats including 720p, 1080i and 1080p.
Not only does the TI DLP DMD account for the IN104's vibrant colors, it's a money saver too. DLP-based systems require no filters that have to be periodically cleaned and replaced, saving you time and money.
But switch into Economical mode and the savings really soar. Lamp life zooms by a third from 3,000 hours to 4,000 hours while brightness dims by only 20 percent. In standby mode this projector draws less than a single watt.

Switch from Normal to Eco mode and all sorts of good things happen. Overall power consumption drops from 288 watts to just 228 watts. Lamp wattage drops from a reasonably low 220 watts to an even better 170 watts. And fan noise drops from a whisper quiet 33 dbA to an almost imperceptible 28 dbA. In standby mode the IN104 sips less than a single watt.

The product was purchased for and is being used during our church services. The selection site in putting in specific criteria and the recommendation of different models made it easy in comparing and narrowing down models to meet our needs. We are VERY pleased with this model including, features and cost. This projector replaced a five year old model and after the first Sunday in use the members are still taking about how real the background images are and how bright and clear the words appear. We purchased a universal mount which was easy to install. Once the projector was installed the hook up and adjustment was a breeze, simple and user friendly. We were using the projector with our current computer and equipment within minutes. I would highly recommend this projector not to mention its 5 year warranty and lamplight life to a budget conscious and those focused on being faithful stewards for ministry.

For the price, this is a wonderful deal. Good color rendition. Bright enough to project in fairly light conditions when necessary, and at a good distance of 50 ft or more. LOTS of input and output terminals to suit multiple sources. Works like a dream with my studio's Macs.

This product is perfect for a college environment! Unlike clunky projectors, this lightweight, compact projector offers the faculty ease of sharing and use -- and we all know that "caring is sharing!" This does the work of a bigger projector with far less headache! Would totally recommend!
In my opinion, however, I had a hard time setting it up. Admittedly, I'm not terribly tech-savvy, so if you have someone who is, I'm sure they could do it lickety-split!

Good value, great little gadget. Haven't owned it long enough to find out the durability but so far am very pleased. Images are bright and crisp. I use it for business presentation, the carrying case is very convenient. Also used it for a fun family movie night, very pleased with the quality of the pictures. For almost the same cost, I would recommend this instead of the Pico LED ones any minute of the day.

We primarily use this for Sales Presentations in lighted areas. It has bright view in lighted areas. Project was light and big. What concerned me with this project was the damage it might get from to much travel. The project is great if you will keep it stationed. I would not recommend for travel as it could get smashed and top seemed a little hollow and feels like it can crack.
