Pyle Pro PCAU33 Mini 75 Watt x 2 Stereo Power Amplifier w/ USB Input
In this age of 500 and 1000 Watt stereo amplifiers it's easy to forget that there are still plenty of uses for a small 40 watt per channel amplifier like the Pyle Pro PCAU33 Mini 75 Watt x 2 Stereo Power Amplifier w/ USB Input.
You can use it to fill your kitchen, den, bedroom or computer desk with music from your Walkman or MP3 player via its front-panel USB input to a pair of desktop speakers.
And it works just as well to amplify the weak audio your netbook or notebook's speakers put out. Again, just feed the audio into the PCAU33 via the USB input or use a mini jack to RCA L/R pair cable (available separately) to connect you computer to the PCAU33.
In both scenarios, just add a modest pair of speakers and hook them up to the back wire-capture terminals and you've got audio loud enough to dance to.

I am using in my garage to feed speakers on my deck. Plenty of power for this use. Good sound.Would be nice if the Usb had a way to control files and folders or a random play.

Used to power ambient music in a yoga studio 4-ceiling speakers. The power from this amp appears to be much less than advertised. I bought the 40w PTAU23 2x40W MINI COMPUTER AMP w/USB version also and the output seemed much richer. If I had to buy this amp again I would go up to the next size (without re-checking I think that was 150w). The LED's are the brightest on the planet, much like the other reviews I had to cover them with black tape. I was disappointed the USB port would not work with an iPod/iPhone (I couldn't find anywhere stating it would or wouldn't so it was a bit of a guess/hope on my part). You can use an RCA/3.5mm and plug into the headphone jack on the iPod/phone just fine.
I am powering 4 8" Pyle ceiling speakers as well as a Pyle Ceiling 10" subwoofer. It is quite ample for a 1200 sq ft yoga studio but wouldn't recommend it for loud music situations like dance studio. You simply need more power.
I am happy with the amp and for the price I was thrilled.

When my old amplifier died on me where to go? The sound engineer I have worked with recommended the PylePro series so the 75 watt unit was installed into my studio. Amazing!! About the size and weight of brick excellent rich sound. Highly recommended; unbelievable value.

Several years ago I bought a stereo to replace my radio from college. Not too long ago, just like my radio from college, my stereo died. Not wanting to toss my functioning speakers I bought this amp.
So far I've used this amp for music sync playback for music videos, audio playback on my computer, and a short-lived home theater experience.
It's solid with a little weight but easy to setup, use, and breakdown. The LED display is not as sensitive as it should be but the sound still comes out fine.
As of this review I haven't tried the usb port yet but would still recommend as an audio playback solution. I'd buy the model without the LED display though.
