Bower SX4EOS 2x Telextender with 4 Lens Elements
The Bower SX4EOS 2x Telextender (also known as a tele-extender) will multiply the focal length of your existing lens by 2x, and will cut back the amount of light by 2 f/stops while maintaining full autofocus coupling.
For example, using a 2x teleconverter with a 300mm lens will effectively increase the focal length to 600mm. A lens set to f/2.8 will now be f/5.6.
Teleconverters are not recommended for lenses wider than 50mm, e.g. 28-105mm. However, full AF operation is only possible with lenses with open aperture of f/2.8 or brighter. Please be aware that AF will work properly only if there is enough light and contrast on the subject to activate the camera's AF sensors. Manual focusing is recommended when using lenses with smaller open f-stop value than those given above.

I found it as a useless object for me, resulting images are poor in contrast and bright and some chromatic aberrations are easy to be noticed even for a novice. It's much better to buy a telephoto directly. Works ONLY with exactly "EF" lenses.

Good for the price. The AF really doesn't work with lenses 4.8 or darker. If you don't care of using the manual focus it is ok

Looks and sounds like a great product, but before ordering check to make sure you have the right lens. This extender does not work with Canon EF lens.

It works as expected. It is tight on the camera, fairly good quality optics for the price, and enabled me to get some good shots without having to switch to my tele lens. Don't expect Life Magazine covers, but dont expect cheap quality either

I used this yesterday when shooting some tornado pictures. It's good for the price, and has already contributed to my freelance work. While I would definately recommend it, you need to be aware that additional optics can yield lower quality images.
