Large Sticky Filters for Flash are a unique way to provide filtration for your camera's flash. They are available in two sizes to accommodate both standard-sized flashes as well as point-and-shoot cameras.
The Large size Sticky Filter is designed to fit flashes as large as a Sunpak 544. The Junior size is manufactured to fit the smaller, built-in flashes of point-and-shoot units. In either case, both sizes are built with a wide angle diffuser which will negate the need to buy any sort of adapter. Just peel and stick them on your flash head and you're ready to shoot under a wide variety of lighting.
Sticky Filters are constructed from a durable polyester. Tear-resistant and removable, the filter itself can be lifted off without any problem. These filters were designed with the digital photographer in mind and based on current indoor lighting lighting scenarios - as well as color.

I don't know what I would do without these filters for big, dark, tungsten ballrooms. No more orange muck in the background!
I love that they are easy to peel of/stick on and you don't have to velcro anything to your flash. I keep the accordion-folded filter wallet on my person at all times while shooting, as it's slim and light, it's easy to make quick changes.
The only draw back is that eventually the 'stickiness' wears out and I've lost a few of the filters which is why I'm back here now, to purchase more.
Buying an extra set for my 2nd shooter... the disparity between having the filters and not having the filters is grotesquely obvious when working with a filterless assistant! :)

Did a good job with color balance. Used for wedding, church was all incandescent, so filter worked OK, still fine tuned the camera K temp to give better tone. Reception was all florescent, it done good, but still fine tuned the K temp for best skin tones. But the problem I had was both filters used left the adhesive on the center of my flash (580exii). must have got to hot for the adhesive with the flash going off a lot. But I would still recommend, to get the best shots possible.

Why didn't I think of this invention before? A great way to even out the color temperature when white-balancing.

This solves the problem of attaching gels to any flash. It offers a great many colors for any situation. That said, I am not sure what situations fit what filter, although I do understand balancing tungsten and florescent lighting.

I haven't had a ton of time to use these yet, but in my initial tests, they work great. My only reason for not giving five stars is the price -- then again, the lifetime warranty to replace filters that have lost their "stickiness" may turn out to be worth it in the end.

Very easy to use and the colors are easy to see. The ability to get them off to the flash head was simple and fast. No problems with on and off.

Comments about Sticky Filters for Flash (Large, 2 x 3.25", Set of 5):
Sticky filters make sense since flash and ambient light are different temperatures. The movie industry has used filters on lights for a long time. It's also great for photography. If you have an SLR camera that can handle high ISO these filters work great indoors for adding a bit of fill flash to faces without making the picture look unnatural or using high powered flash. Good effects can be obtained outdoors as well. The filters take a bit of getting used to and learning how to optimize your camera/flash settings, but with some effort it will give good results.
