The Pyle Pro PT260A 200 Watt Digital AM/FM Stereo Receiver packs a lot of fun times into a small, very affordable package.
It's got two sets of speaker outputs and each pair puts out 200 Watts. If you get yourself four outdoor speakers you could place both pairs in strategic locations in your backyard and party outside in the middle of 400 Watts of audio power. You've got three analog audio inputs so you can select between a CD player, an MP3 player and whatever other audio equipment you care to plug in. Or tune to your favorite AM or FM station. The PT260A has 60 station presets. You'll easily be able to see what you're listening to thanks to the clear, bright digital display. The PT260A even includes an AM/FM antenna.
Do you like karaoke? Well you can enjoy it at home and even sing duets. Your PT260A includes two front microphone jacks. You supply the karaoke CDs and microphones. Your PT260 will do the mixing and amplification.
Your PT260A allows you to adjust volume, stereo balance, treble and bass so you can get the sound you want. And you can switch it between 110 V AC 60 Hz and 240 Hz V AC.
Your Pyle Pro PT260A 200 Watt Digital AM/FM Stereo Receiver isn't one of those complex high-powered, high-end, high-cost units. It's a simple stereo receiver/amplifier that can supply you with many hours of family fun and listening enjoyment.

The sound quality is great, and the front panel shows me everything I need and more. I only wish the remote had a power on/off button.

A real disappointment. No earphone jack. Aux input non-functional, Can hardly pick up an FM station 5 miles away. Remote has no on/off function. Only good as a paperweight.

Was looking for a low cost 2 channel amp to connect to my cable and satellite boxes for use with movies and music channels. Also purchased a pair of Pyle cube speakers to go with it. Works great, just as I intended. Got it all shipped for [$]!

No Power and poor reception. Was trying to replace my old receiver of 20 years in my shed for back yard sound but ended up putting the old one back.

I was surprised to hear that much quality sound from the cheap set of speakers that I hooked up to it. You can find a happy medium through the entire volume range. There no hidden surprises, the Pyle Pro PT260A receiver is just great quality fun. Karaoke is also much better with the built in echo control. I love it, Charles Hoffman

Remote does not power up or power down the receiver. User manual is useless. Programing stations is difficult. On the positive side, it does sound ok for the price.

Comments about Pyle Pro PT260A 200 Watt Digital AM/FM Stereo Receiver:
The receiver is used with a pair of Sony bookshelf speakers at the office. It sounds very good, though I can't get FM reception with the supplied antenna. I run Aux in from the computer and listen to Web stations, or my iPod.
Great price for the unit, though i could do without the display, which is way too bright, along with the bright blue row of buttons on the bottom of the faceplate.
The remote doesn't have a power button--strange.
Overall, I'm very satisfied with the purchase.

Comments about Pyle Pro PT260A 200 Watt Digital AM/FM Stereo Receiver:
It's more like a Boom-box. The display is to bright, The Power has to be turned On/Off manually, after mid volume sound gets distorted and at low volume you can hear a slight hum-mm. Even connected to Bose speakers. Unfortunately a waste of money.
Can't give 0 stars unfortunately

Comments about Pyle Pro PT260A 200 Watt Digital AM/FM Stereo Receiver:
I purchased this amp to use at our outdoor pool club for background music and announcements. This was perfect right out of the box. With the ability to keep the background music on and just announcing right over the music with a separate volume control for mics and tuner. The only reason it got 4 stars not 5 is the poor user manual. I had to figure out station changing vs. volume on main knob.
