I bought these to round out our stage monitor setup. Already own a Behringer powered setup (215A and 212A). Adding this 10" setup for side monitors for drums and keyboard worked out great. They are powerful at 200w (current setup is 400w but this is more than enough for my needs). Only negative is that I wish they would provide longer power cords for these babies.

Comments about Behringer B210D 2-Way Active Loud Speaker (Black):
I purchased the B210D for use as a small portable PA for live radio broadcasts.
I use enough Behringer gear to be both hopeful and leary of trying something from them that I haven't used before. They seem to either hit home runs or strike out with their hardware. Thus far, I am happy to say this is a home run.
Pros:
- Adequate power / SPL, even for smaller outdoor jobs.
- Frequency response is very natural. The 2-band eq is enough to compensate for most source material and placements.
- Very lightweight. When you're hauling tons of gear in and out of a location, these will save you a trip or two.
- Wedged back allows for horizontal "monitor" placement as well as the usual upright position.
- Build quality feels solid.
Cons:
- Top frequency response seems to roll off fairly quickly. There's plenty of highs, but not a lot of "air" (10K+).
- Back panel (amp/controls) is flush with the back of the cabinet. They should be recessed deep enough so that the pots are not exposed to being sheared off if the speaker back is up against something during transport.
- Would be willing to have $10-$15 added to the price if a protective cover were supplied with the unit (ala JBL EON's). Would protect the speaker, and add a pouch for an IEC cord and maybe a 25' cable.
Overall, for the price, this is an excellent value. If it is reliable over the long term, I will get more.

The speakers sounded great. We used them in a small parade. The sounds was excellent and the price was great. So far no bad things to say about the speakers. They are lightweight and easy to use for many different events.

This is my second set of Behringer powered monitors. My other set is the B212As. I compared them in the store on keys in stereo. I work a lot in the studio, programming and listening in stereo. Playing in mono is unthinkable. I have been playing live in stereo for more than 30 years and these little power houses make the setup extremely portable. I used to have a 20 space rack filled with gear. I now just use an 802 mixer and a pair of these speakers. Overall, the sound is more than acceptable delivering a full range of tone.

My main speakers are the mackie srm450v2s (LOVE 'em), but it's a big room and I needed to add some punch at the far end. Just one of these little Behringers does the trick very nicely indeed!

Needed some small active speakers for overflow crowds at a 250 person venue.
These are great for their size, sound and volume.

Comments about Behringer B210D 2-Way Active Loud Speaker (Black):
Bought for use by my 14-year-old son, who is starting out as a solo singer/guitarist/keyboardist. We had previously purchased an unpowered mixer for recording purposes and were looking for an inexpensive, portable sound system for him to use in putting on small shows. The B210D has worked great for us, although we haven't yet really pushed the volume on it - haven't needed to get much beyond about 25%. Using the 1/4" jack we're noticing a fair amount of hiss at higher volumes, but are working to EQ that down and will probably try a 1/4-to-XLR or RCA-to-XLR cable to see if that solves the problem. Overall, we're pleased with the sound quality, volume and portability. We'll probably buy another soon enough.

Comments about Behringer B210D 2-Way Active Loud Speaker (Black):
I own a few of the bigger cousins (B215D) and was looking for a small powered monitor speaker as part of a keyboard setup.
This little PA speaker has a lot going for it. It's lightweight, easy to carry, compact size. The back is angled so that it can double as a floor monitor. Inputs are 1/4" and XLR, and both loop through the XLR-M link output to hook up additional speakers.
Like every speaker this design is a trade off. Most notable is the weaker bass response at higher SPL, which was expected given the small 8" woofer. At lower levels it performs just fine, but i wouldn't use this as a drum monitor in a loud band, it won't cut it. For my purpose (local monitoring) it is a very good fit, I just have to roll off the bass a bit at higher levels.
The price is very reasonable, and I've bought one more to be used as compact monitor after trying this speaker for a while. The B215Ds have performed without issues for the last 3 years, so I expect these to hold up as well.
