JMI Telescopes Large Optical Encoder

This JMI Large Optical Encoder is needed in-order to control your telescope with a computer. The device converts motion into a sequence of digital pulses. By counting a single bit or by decoding a set of bits, the pulses can be converted to relative or absolute position measurements. This is a 10,000 tics-per-revolution encoder.
