This EMI Encoder to Encoder Pigtail Cable (Inline to RJ-11) is a short adapter cable to connect an encoder to an encoder cable. The "inline" connector slides onto the protruding electrical contacts and the "RJ-11" connector accepts the standard modular plug on the encoder cable. This allows the encoder cable to be easily disconnected just like you would disconnect a telephone cable from the wall jack.
